Wireless router advice help (for a friend)

Hello everyone

I need advice to pick out a wireless router for a friend his budget is about 79 $

He need it pretty much of the latst hardware. Like AC wireless

He uses it for streaming netflix etc otters and for phones, tablets, computer too

His download speed is 60 and his upload speed is 60.

He have big problems with his range and his speed on his curret router

Can anyone help out please

It would be useful to understand more about the issues and what the requirements are.

1.) What country?
- $79 US currency will not get you any where near the latest hardware...but it can get you decent last generation hardware

2.) What router/AP does he have now?

3.) More details on what the current issues are?
- Is the speed wired and wireless?
- How are are the wireless clients from the Router?
- How many walls/obstacles are in between?
- What speeds is he able to get?

4.) What are the details of the clients?
- Are the clients N or AC devices?
- Are the clients 5GHz capable?
