2.4g low speed after switching supplier-AX86U

Using AX86U, switched ISP today and 5g gets full signal but 2.4g not even half of the speed (1g download but only getting 160m max). Tweeked the setting per the thread still slow. Any suggestions?

Thanks. Will read this long paper. Not sure: for 1G download internet, I am getting about 170m mx download while 5G gets full 1G. Is it normal?

170 mbit/s is very good speed from 2.4GHz.

No. Normally you get about 90Mbps on 2.4GHz band with 2-stream client and 20MHz wide channel.

Is that so? Just about to call the ISP and have them check. bascially we are paying only for 5G speed for the 1g internet?

It doesn't matter who your ISP is, the wifi speed of your router has absotutely nothing to do with them.
