Beta 2 loaded on my two RT-AX88U APs this afternoon - filthy upgrade from Beta 1. No issues to report.

Beta2 dirty ^^^^ beta1: everything in best order!

THANKS @RMerlin !!!

Well, I downgraded the Beta2 to 386_5.2 which everything worked the best, my network is good with that SDK for sure.

Took about 30s to whole network to sync along.

@RMerlin thanks for the hard work, man!
I will sit this one out.

I hope you could mention me when next SDK/FW is out for Beta.

Thank you!

THANKS @RMerlin !!!
I have mentioned following issues:
Unlike previous updates, the hard drive was not recognized this time. As always, I just left it on during the update. Here is the LOG after I unplugged and reconnected the hard drive:

In this state, the USB LED lights up, but the USB "not connected" is displayed in the webgui.

Repairing device with windows AND health scanner of the router fixed it....

This was the first time I had issues with this USB-SSD....

Dirty upgrade on my AX88U from latest alpha to beta 2,
All devices connected again, including my Google Nest. Both wired and Wireless Aimesh nodes AX58U work flawless.

This is the only error sofar, not sure if it is firmware related:
Code:
Aug 10 12:27:50 ovpn-server1[2778]: event_wait : Interrupted system call (code=4)
Aug 10 12:27:50 ovpn-server1[2778]: PLUGIN AUTH-PAM: Error signaling background process to exit: Connection refused (errno=111)

Did a clean install Beta 2 GT-AXE16000 and upon reboot my SSD would be recognized by Time Machine but would not connect giving a MacOS error message stating that the drive is not supported. Did a clean install of the most current stock ASUS firmware and the SSD was recognized and connected without a hitch. I previously had a GT-AXE11000 with beta and release ASUS Merlin firmware and had no issues with installing the same external SSD using Time Machine. I understand the USB API's are not touched by Merlin so I am at a loss why the beta's for the GT-AXE16000 do not work with Time Machine. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated because I love Merlin's firmware-thanks Merlin.

will have an eye on it and maybe do a hard reset at weekend to see if this happens again.

Boot times warnings are perfectly normal, most of the cases are Linux drivers probing the hardware to determine if they should load (like the SFP+ driver), or hardware getting initialized.

ACS checks may be delayed due to the radio not being fully initialized yet (for instance if it`s currently in the middle of a DFS check, or the router hasn`t finished booting yet).

I just installed Beta2 (Working great) on my AX88U. I just noticed this on the Wifi Page i see this setting
"Auto select channel including U-NII-4 band"

Its turned off, should i turn it on? does it even apply to AX88U?

That setting does not apply to the RT-AX88U. Not sure why it`s showing up for you, it shouldn`t for that model. But then that`s a feature Asus were still working on recently, so it might not be fully implemented yet (including proper compatibility testing).

Where are you seeing that? I'm not on my AX88U.

Not seen here (Australia). Might be a region specific setting?

Those channels are only available in the USA at this time.

Hello guys RMerlin how you doing

I have two zte MC7010 outdoor routers these router support 2.5Gbps ethernet and i have one ASUS GT-AXE16000 the two zte feeding the asus router with internet but i have weird problem on network map on system status don't know if you guys that having that problem too the problem is that sometime these two routers shows 100Mbps and sometime showing full 2.5Gbps the two not one of them and by the way i am using them with load balancing i attach the 3 photo's one on the asus stock factory firmware and the latest merlin beta2 and tried beta1 same problem maybe rmerlin will help and thank you for the incredible firmware's and supports rmerlin.

Maybe it needs fix for it it's bug i think. I disable all the following features: AiProtection, Traffic Analyzer, Web History, Adaptive QoS, Game boost, Web & apps filters, bandwidth monitor and everything is good i don't use wireless i disable them all even maybe in the future i use it.

I have disconnections even on the system log and there's second weird problem after disabled the wireless all bands the lights on asus router are on accept 5Ghz-2 are off i did a scan with a phone to see if the wireless are on but they are all disabled forget to mention these above i add more photo's.

Any suggestions will be appreciated thanks.

Beta 2 up for 2h. Everything works great, also no strange error messages in the log as some reported.
I'm not seeing the new selection for U-NII-4 band control channels, showing DFS channels only. (U.S. firmware)
