AX88U Reboot when OpenVPN client connect

Good day! Soul Cry already

There is Router AX88U as OpenVPN Server in TAP mode
Client - AC68U Router.

As soon as the Client connects - AX88U instantly reboots .... What could be wrong ?!

If you connect from a mobile device, everything is fine. The connection is stable.
There are only 4 clients in the AC68U network.


Merlin firmware - but the situation is the same on the Stock firmware.

A week ago, everything worked, I did not change the settings and firmware, then I began to reboot.

Help me please.

If you haven't done a full reset to factory defaults after flashing RMerlin firmware, do so now. Your router is not in a good/known state.

So your AC86U connects via openVPN to your AX88U to provide the network access for the clients (behind the AC86u)?

Did you try to disconnect all Clients first, then establish a connection and connect clients one bye one? We don't know what kind of clients are connected to your AC86U but may be they are causing it.

Are both routers either stock or merlin? or did you mix them?
