Ok, My OCD is getting the better of me here....

I have an RT-AC68U with Merlin's Firmware:380.57 installed.

I have noticed my Connected Client List shows the devices connected with an Icon next to their other details. This Icon might be an Apple Logo, Sony Logo, Tablet or Phone or even in the ASUS App for IOS it shows the Windows Logo or an A for Apple.

I have noticed a few of my devices have the wrong Icon next to them, i.e an iPhone 6 shows the Windows Logo for example. This is annoying at worst but still any reason why they display incorrectly or a way to fix them?

Cheers

Did you try clicking on the device in the client list?..

Yes clicking it to show more details in the iOS app and options, clicking it in a normal web browser which only allows you to change the Clients Name. Refreshing Clients, rebooting router etc just a few devices seem to be stuck.

What really bothers me is, if I export the client list it lists all the clients correctly, i.e iPhone 6, iPad Mini etc

Its not just a web browser cache issue either as the iOS App clearly tells me its an iPhone yet displays the Windows logo.

This may sound stupid and OCD'ish but its annoying.

if you click on the Icon (logo) you don't see an option to change the ICON?

I got it now thanks.

Clicking "View list" under the Clients box on the routers index.asp page, pops up a window with all the clients but that popup window does not allow you to change anything in the web browser, but by clicking the Client button to allow this page to show http://192.168.1.1/device-map/clients.asp the Icon's as you say allow you to click them and edit them, which I hadn't seen before.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction ;)
