error on RT-AC87U USB...

I have a netgear 790s connected via usb to the RT-AC87U, and daily the connection drops and I have to restart it: what does it depend on ???

Is the NG 790s running the latest firmware available? Have you tried fully resetting it? What firmware are you running on the RT-AC87U? What features/options or scripts do you use or have enabled on the router beyond the defaults?

When was the last time you did a full reset of your network equipment?

pretty much the latest merlin firmware, but did it with those before too. There is no apparent reason, suddenly it gives the error I described above and I have to restart everything hoping it will restart ... Also tried to reset but nothing changes. It must be said that I also connected a USB 3 in front with timemachine and behind the netgear 790s.
