Without any Asus GPL update, most of the other changes backported to 388.10 were well tested in 102.5.

This thread has nothing to do with GT-BE98 since it is firmware 3006.102, not 3004.388.

Not necessarily. Asus firmware releases are independent of GPLs that Asus provides to @RMerlin.

I think it's hard to say, since Merlin used source code from ASUS versioned as 388_25373 back in January 2025 for 388.9. Asus has never publicly released any 388 firmware numbered 388_25xxx.

You can't compare directly. The Merlin alpha is based upon GPL 25373 (the same as the previous full Merlin release), but this doesn't compare directly to an Asus release -- @RMerlin applies patches independent of the GPL.
