[ 3006.102.6 alpha Build(s) ] available build(s)

Not sure why this is an alph release. It's running flawlessly for me on my GT-BE98PRO. 60 connections, 4 VLAN's. Everything lightning fast and no dissconnects. Thank you Merlin. When does this become the Beta stage? I don not see anything from my end thats a problem.

Just for curiosity. Is BE-86U included in this alpha build? I don't see any update related to this model on either alpha 1 and alpha 2 although I can see there's recently updated one in the changelog that implies newer version from GPL build merged for "other wifi 7"
And just out of curiosity, how hard was it to just click on the download link in first post and check for yourself first ...? 🤔

I did checked but it seems like it's all related to change at webui level? As I only see there're newly alpha builds for be98 and be92), which is named as alpha 2 as opposed to be 86u ones

That is the the main point of this update; new GPL are just coming, and not for all models at once; it is an alpha after all.
And, I think people are way too much preoccupied with GPL versions, and dont necessarily get it that Merlin patches things in many instances faster than Asus; thus new GPL or not (unless some specific closed source problem patched in it) are rather irrelevant ...

I see, thanks! I just wonder to see if the new fixes come as part of merlin one (https://www.snbforums.com/threads/asus-rt-be86u-firmware-version-3-0-0-6-102_38984-2025-08-11.95436/). That means newer GPL builds for be86u will not be included in these alpha builds until GPL for all models are rolled out 😅

Alpha2 up in a smoothless conversion from Alpha1. The weird high number Client count on Network-Map appears to have been fixed (thanks!!), reality returns.

Unbound 3.25 on 102-6 Alpha. Appears everything fine on SSH operation. The GUI locks up the display, no data. Thought this GUI worked on 102-5 level. Over to.. @Martineau
I was made aware of your post regarding a possible new issue when loading the Unbound Stats WebUI page on the 3006.102.6 Alpha build. Is this an intermittent problem? Or does it happen every single time?

When the WebUI page gets loaded, are there any error messages listed on the "Browser Console" window? (Press the <F12> key to open the "Browser Console")

If there are any errors, would you please provide a clear and readable screenshot showing the console output?

For context, what is the version of your current Unbound Stats WebUI add-on?
If you have the latest version, you can double-check using the following command via SSH:
Bash:
/jffs/addons/unbound/unbound_stats.sh help
Sample screenshot:
UnboundStats_SSH_CLI_Help.jpg

BTW, just to double-check, I installed the latest Unbound Manager + Unbound Stats versions on my RT-AX86U_PRO running F/W 3006.102.5, and the WebUI page loads fine without any problems; so whatever the issue is, it might be something that happens only when the webpage is loaded on the latest 3006.102.6 Alpha builds.

I don't have a test router running the 3006 F/W, and I don't install Alpha or Beta F/W builds on my mission-critical network router.

Adding what I am seeing as well:
## by @juched - Generate Stats for GUI tab - v1.4.3 [Branch: master]

I also tried generate, install again, switching to development branch, all with the same results.

@Martinski Avoid using functions from the old Tomato tm*.js scripts, such as E(). These scripts are being removed in 3006.102.6 (and in the next major 3004.388 release as well).

Just installed Alpha2 while I had a free moment.
I'm noticing the traffic monitor looks like the below by default straight out of installing the latest Alpha:

1761577420415.png

The related error seems to be:

1761577461723.png

Code:
trafmon.js:172
Uncaught RangeError: Invalid language tag:
    at Number.toLocaleString (<anonymous>)
    at rescale_data_rate (trafmon.js:172:24)
    at sa.callback (Main_TrafficMonitor_realtime.asp:236:49)
    at c (chart.min.js:7:911)
    at sa.generateTickLabels (chart.min.js:13:65111)
    at sa._convertTicksToLabels (chart.min.js:13:68156)
    at sa.update (chart.min.js:13:63526)
    at qi (chart.min.js:13:35179)
    at Object.update (chart.min.js:13:37560)
    at bn._updateLayout (chart.min.js:13:93740)

I won't lie I haven't paid much attention over the last few weeks, so it's possible I missed something already mentioned about this.

I first tried enabling: Statistic's for Traffic Analyzer and Apps analysis for QoS Bandwidth Monitor and validated that it wasn't related and made zero difference.
I then tried a different browser. All attempts give the same issue.

Just for reference for anyone else that may experience this, what finally kicked it back into gear was going to the top right of the user interface and re-selecting "English" (even though it was always set to English by default.)

Thank you for the very useful tip; it saved me time to narrow down the cause of the problem. Fortunately, there were only 7 function calls in the original code using the old Tomato JS code.

Thank you both for taking the time to check and for providing the browser console output.

I have made changes to remove the old Tomato JS dependencies and replaced code with more standard function calls.

These latest fixes are currently found only on the latest 'develop' branch v1.4.4 version. If you're interested in testing and verifying the fixes, you can switch from the master/production v1.4.3 version to the latest 'develop' branch version using the following command:
Bash:
/jffs/addons/unbound/unbound_stats.sh develop

You can verify that you have the latest 'develop' v1.4.4_25102709 version using the following command:
Bash:
/jffs/addons/unbound/unbound_stats.sh help
UnboundStats_v1.4.4_SSH_CLI_Help.jpg

The related error seems to be:
Odd, since the documentation for that function says that if an invalid language string is passed, it's supposed to automatically fallback to en-US by default.

I would need to know what the previous language setting was in nvram. Otherwise, I will probably need to drop the idea of automatically adjusting the formatting and hardcode it to en-US like Tomato used to mimick.

I have a backup of my previous nvram values from yesterday I can send you if need be.

Might be simpler for you to load it on your own router, retrieve the nvram value, then switch back the language. The nvram value I need from the non-working situation is preferred_lang.

I can confirm that value was blank until I set it today.

Thanks for peeking at this, knowing you have a really busy "dance-card" for us on the Add-Ons. To answer your questions from my experiences.
1. When you go to the UnBound GUI, no error messages. Just get this blank looking panel view, as attached.
2. Click on 'Update Stats', no changes. 'Toggle Lines' or 'Toggle Fill' then data, as attached.
3. On Firefox, you can't select any of the Router GUI options once in Unbound GUI. Have to use Firefox Browser reverse to get back to selectable tabs/options.

When you open the UnBound GUI.

Pressing Toggle Fill...

Using..."/jffs/addons/unbound/unbound_stats.sh help"...my GUI code level is v1.4.1.

Thanks! Willing to try any tweaks for you, as have a spare RT-BE96U (3006-102 code) that can be setup just for playing around.
