CPU usage and Memory always 100% ? version 376.47

Hello,

i flashed the 376.47 version on my rt n16, did a factory reset, configured wireless settings, plugged in a wd mybook 1TB usb hdd, installed download manager, and i noticed that CPU usage is always 100% and memory at 95%.

it has been like this for over an hour.

disk check says it's ok. if i unmount the drive, cpu usage and memory usage drop to 1% and 40%.

if i plug it back, cpu and mem maxx out. i have disabled the download manager with no change in the cpu or mem usage. it is a new install, and i have no active downloads.

the activity led on the usb hard disk is flashing indicating disk activity, but for what?

how can i see exactly what process is using all the resources?

Log in through a SSH connection and use 'top' to see which processes are keeping your router busy.

when installing download master than router activate swap file

and after activating swap file memory become 95%

on my RT-N15U if swap disabled - 24Mb free
when swap enabled - 1MB free
