New Around Here
This is my first post, but definitely not my first time on this site. It has been extremely helpful when dealing with my P/I/T/A at&t 3801HGV and asus router behind it (specifically THIS post, but many others have given great ideas)
After finishing up yet another "what happened to my connection, let's re-do all this again" session tonight, I noticed on my u-verse Settings/Broadband/Link Configuration page there's a spot for Add Cascaded Router that would host a secondary subnet.
I'm curious what, if any, are the pros/cons for just adding my ASUS ip address to the cascaded router list and letting it handle what (in my mind) seems to be what we're accomplishing by adding the ASUS to the DMZplus mode?
