All,
I am setting up my RT-AC88U as the master AiMesh Router in AP Mode. I have an RT-AC66U B1 on the way (got a good price on it) to add to it.
I have the WAN port wired to a VPN router which is then connected to my Charter Modem and everything connects fine and can see my devices on the network and can communicate with each other and the internet.
I can check for Firmware Updates, etc . . .
The only thing I can't figure out is why and what it means that the Network Map shows a red "X" in the connection between "Security level: WPA2-Personal" and "Parent AP status: AP Mode" as shown in this image:
If you have any thoughts let me know, because everything seems to be working as expected.
