I am trying to get IPTV working.
This used to work with another modem device but it doesn't with the current modem i am using.
IPTV VLAN VID 4 set in LAN---->IPTV
Internet VID 6 set in LAN---->IPTV
I am trying to understand what these settings do exactly in terms of bridging tagging untagging etc.
One of the things that i can't get working is setting up a pppoe session by setting VLAN 6 on the Asus router. This does work if i tag the VLAN first on the modem i am using. But that means i can't use it aymore on the Asus. I am also trying to understand if the IPTV setting in the GUI still does something in static/dynamic IP mode.
I am using a Asus RT-56U with the latest Merlin WRT version
To determine where the problem is it would help to know exactly what these settings do.
