WPN824v3 Wireless Repeater

Good day!

I have WNR854T and a WPN824v3. Is it possible to configure the WPN824v3 as a wireless repeater for the WNR854T? Or can the WNR854T be configured as a base for the WPN824v3?

I found the FAQ at Netgear for setting up the repeater functionality, but I think I may need to buy another WPN824v3 and use it as the base. Is this true?

Any useful feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Unless it has been added by new firmware, the WNR854T does not support WDS bridging/repeating. So, no, you can't use it to repeat with the WPN824
