No support on alpha builds !

3006.102.5 (xx-xxx-2025)
- NOTE: For developers, please note that the new default branch
is now called "main" - it's what was previously the
3006.102 branch.
The "master" branch has been renamed "master-old", and
is no longer actively used. Due to how the 3006.102
branch diverged, it was easier to do it this way than
to fold back 3006.102 on top of master.

- UPDATED: Merged GPL 3006.102_37957 for Wifi 6 devices.
- UPDATED: dropbear to 2025.88.
- CHANGED: Reworked System Log -> Connections page. You can
now filter the list, local hostnames are resolved,
automatically refresh the page, and IPv6 is supported.
- CHANGED: Replaced netstat-nat by a fork called netstat-nat-ng.
This fork fixes a number of issues with IPv6 and
field size.

GT-AX6000 in AP mode here. Updated with following soft- and hardware reset. Noticed no issues so far:
- X.509 authentication enabled by default now on Web UI
- LED steering changed. Old nvram vars (up to _102.4) have no function. Had to manual disable Aurora und enabled night mode in UI.
- No changes on WiFi6 on nvram side

Looking good so far👍

Smooth upgrade from 3006.102.4 without any issues. 👍
Any chance to get an updated version of Curl in this release?

Updated multiple RT-AX6000 (both primary router and AiMesh nodes), RT-AX86U Pro (primary router), and GT-AXE16000 (AiMesh node) on multiple local and remote networks with no issues so far.

Just updated to alpha build, only thing I can find is aura RGB is empty. (ctrl+f5 is tested)

System Log -> Connections page is really nice :)

Thanks for alpha build.

Any particular reason?

I am conservative with curl updates, as the risk it may break something (Asus relies on curl for a lot of internal things) is quite significant.

+1 regarding the AURA RGB, which I do not use. All other aspects to the update from RMerlin stable to alpha 1 are running smoothly (GNP IoT, WG)
EDIT I was using Firefox, and other browsers display correctly!

It seems only Firefox (140.0) doesn't work with Aura RGB.
Chrome, Samsung and Edge browsers work fine.
Will have to wait for a Firefox update.

Totally understandable to be conservative after your explanation. I just noticed the current version is 630 days old and other similar components regularly gets updated. Since the router is facing the Internet, I thought it might be important to keep up to date with bug fixes and vulnerabilities present in older versions. Nothing critical for me, just to feel safer and up to date.👍

Curl is not something accessible like a service, so it's not really exploitable in this context. This is more critical within a multi user server.

Smooth load and stable right off the bat! NICE!!!

Isn't Guest Network Pro getting renamed?
For WiFi 7 routers, the Guest Network Pro tab has been renamed to Network -- functionality appears to be the same.

On top of the issues mentioned above I'm still seeing:

The GT-AX6000 doesn't have a 5GHz-2

Let's GO!!!
