Apply button in Wireless - General page is now working and CPU temp issue has been fixed in RT-BE96U 3006.102.5 alpha2. Thanks!

Apply button in Wireless - General page is still NOT working in my configuration, is this bc of AiMesh taking this setting over? Even with ethernet backhaul?

It is working on my side. i dont think a aimesh node will take over any setting from the main. You might want to do a hard reset or reconfigure your router again.

I just found the solution - it works when you make a single change to each band individually! EUREKA! :)

Could someone with WiFi 6 device please check if the "Target Wake Time" setting is back again? This (together with "WiFi Agile Multiband") is missing (at least on RT-AX86U Pro) since the move to 3006.102.4. Thank you in advance.
Gone on 3006 (and good riddance!).

Did some more code load scenarios on the BE96U AiMESH unit after another reboot of the main GT-BE98Pro. This alpha1 code "gef34cb8940" does not enable 2.4/5GHz wireless or their LEDS on the BE96U. Code levels of RT-BE96U_3006_102.4_0 & FW_RT_BE96U_300610237839 work fine.
I don't have any of your problems with my BE96U. I have an ethernet backhaul connection (set to Auto and Preferred Uplink also set to Auto) to two ZenWiFi BT10 units. The connection stays solid on ethernet without dropping out and trying to reconnect through WiFi.
The LED's for both radios 2.4/5GHz is on as well.

BE98Pro Router with AiMESH nodes of BE98Pro & BE96U. The BE96U node didn't enabled the 2.4/5.0GHz bands & LEDs with the main BE98Pro Router on Alpha1 or Alpha2. BE98 Pro node all ok.
Alpha2 installed on all three units ok, BE96U node still not operational on 2.4/5GHz. Changed BE96U node to ASUS stock "FW_RT_BE96U_300610237839" and 2.4/5.0GHz enabled. The weirdness here with AiMESH continues...

3006.102.5-alpha2 is out.
Let's GO!

EDIT: Filthy upgrade from Alpha1 - no issues to report off the hop, as usual. Internet speeds as expected. DDNS good, DNS Director good, VPN Director good, IOT/Nest/Google/TP-Link devices good... wife was annoyed briefly.

Working perfectly on my GT-BE 98PRO. Used memory solid as a rock. Perfect. Everything is lightening fast. I have MLO and 3 additional VLAN's setup. Every VLAN is working as I have it set up.

This should be a Beta release its that good. Great Work Eric!

JUST AS I UPGRADED bang Power failure . lucky my battery backup kept things going for 10 minutes or I'd be screwed . So far alpha2 seems to be working well , if only they could fix the power grid 220 outages the last year

Upgraded to the alpha and Wireless connectivity especially for my IoT devices are amazingly better connected. It seems on par with the last beta for 3006.102.4. Maybe even more solid. Asus-Merlin is amazing! :). And with adding certain mods like ntpmerlin, skynet, etc it gets that much better! Thanks to all the folks who take part in providing Merlin to everyone.

Have the same problem, meshed with XT9 via ethernet backhaul. Without AiMesh device the wifi page has more settings on the combo box. With AiMesh on the XT9 many options disappear and the "Apply" button is not working.
For me only way is to remove node, make changes, re-discover and connect node on AiMesh
It's not browser dependant
I've reported also with 102_4: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/asuswrt-merlin-3006-102-4-is-now-available.94651/post-955038

Alpha 2 on be96u apply button still don't work on 6ghz if you choose channel bandwidth 320mhz and try to choose a control channel other than auto setting.i already did factory reset same problem

My Synology NAS with aggregate/bonded network failed to connect to PIA VPN after my GT-BE98 Pro updated to 3006.102.5_alpha2 ☹️

I fall back to 3006.102.4 and it works just fine. Never had the problem with older versions of firmware too .......

Experiencing the same issue on RT-BE96U on 3006.102.5 alpha2 where Apply button doesn't work on the Wireless - General page.

Repro steps:
Changed 6Ghz channel bandwidth to 320Mhz and set the control channel to a specific channel. Apply button does not work.

Updated to alpha2. Experiencing the same issue others have reported — the Apply button in the Wireless > General menu doesn't respond.

Really like the reworked Connections page in the System Log — much appreciated!

It's the first time I can use 320 mhz and not before so good that it's running now but can't change the channel to 85 it's not possible to enable it but on automatic it works, I'm happy that 320mhz is running on my wifi rt-be92u

is it possible than wan mac cloning had problem on GT-BE98 Pro and alpha 2
