The issue is that I have downloaded the Config Files and gone through all the Tutorials but when I check my connection To NordVPN it says that I am not protected but my Status on VPN Client On and green and I have a local IP and Public IP…. I have checked my IP location with What’s my IP and it shows my home area have tried all kind of configuration and have contacted NordVPN and they say that it is not on their End… Some help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

FYI. You'll gain more visibility and relevant experience if you always post Merlin-specific issues in the Merlin forum.

Do you have "Redirect Internet traffic through tunnel" on the OpenVPN client set to "Yes (all)"?

Hello
New to this forum,, Have Asus AC68U with the latest Merlin Firmware and NordVPN, when I log on to the NordVPN website it tells me that I am Unprotected.
Have Contacted NordVPN and went through several checks and at the end they said it was not on their end…
Have tried different settings and Config files and and it seems that it is not connecting to servers keeps saying unprotected have tried it with what’s my IP and showed my location..
When I change under VPN Client Redirect all traffic through tunnel to All after apply,,, I can’t log on to the internet…

Look in the router's system log for error messages showing the reason for problem.

This seems to be a follow-up from yesterday's problem, which I thought we corrected.

What went wrong?

I thought so to but after the change I could not log on to the internet

Log on to the internet? We have to make a distinction here from an OpenVPN client that's NOT connected (perhaps due to an invalid username/password), vs. an OpenVPN client that *is* connected, but subsequently unable to access specific websites. Those are two very different problems. I assume (given yesterday's comments) it's the latter. And if so, you need to be more specific.
