New Around Here
I have configured my guest network to be running on 2.4 ghz but my devices are still showing on the 2.4ghz interface list instead of guest network 3. Only 1 device is shown on the guest network.

How do I force the others to go to guest network? I have disabled intranet and was able to ping them on the main network, which shows that they are still on the main network.

You have given the guest network it's own ssid haven't you?
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Yeah I have but the ssid was the same as my main network. I reused it, could it be the problem?

But the weird part is 2/5 went to the guest network.

Yes, that's the problem. With the same ssid wireless devices will see them as the same network so will connect randomly.

I thought it's the router that will redirect it to the guest network?
Cos I don't have any existing 2.4 ghz network anymore, the guest network is solely using the 2.4ghz

If you want to use 2.4 solely for the guest network you could simply change the ssid of the main 2.4(?).

If he wants these devices to use the guest network, he MUST do it that way. 👍

You're not silly, you just gained a new experience!
