Hello everyone I only recently found out about this community, Merlin and everything so I quite a noob in these kind of things.

I simply wish to install the latest Merlin to my AC68U but it wont let me, saying: Invalid Firmware Upload

So I was hoping somebody can help me out and make a simple guide step by step in few words, thank you.

My Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.380_4026

(The rason why I choose in first place to install Merlin is because recently after 2 years of use my Router started to have unstable DSL line, so I thought this firmware would do something, even if maybe it has nothing to do, but overall I only see good things about Merlin.)

Just some confusion when you mentioned a DSL line....DSL-AC68U is not supported. RT-AC68U is.

If you are using a separate DSL modem + RT-AC68U, then you can just update the firmware to Merlin's latest via the gui, then do a factory default reset and reconfigure.

My router is supported otherwise why would I bother post anyway? Please sustain from spam, hoping to get some help, thanks.

DSL versions are NOT supported. Again, please refer to the link and read.

The standalone router versions are supported; not the combination versions.

I was convinced it's supported, my bad, was mistaken. I have DSL not RT one, this sucks.

Sell it on ebay and then get the RT- AC68U and a separate DSL modem as John mentions.
