Help with system logs - Constant wifi drops

Can someone help with analysing these logs? I have this one Windows laptop that keeps losing wifi connection.

My setup is a recent RT-AX5400 with latest stock firmware (3.0.0.4.388_23785). I have just this one router (no AIMesh) with 15 devices connected (iPhones, iPads, Android phone, Windows laptops, appliances, etc.). The Asus router is pretty much set to its default settings, with the minimum required for the setup : SmartConnect ON, WPA2-Personal, 160 Mhz enabled. I'm in single-family dwelling, with closest neighbour house approx. 100-ft away, so Interferences are minimal.

Note that in the logs below, I replaced the MAC addresses like this :
  • Samsung phone : ss:ss:ss:ss:ss:ss
  • Windows laptop : ww:ww:ww:ww:ww:ww
  • Asus router MAC address : xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
We can see in the logs that the Windows laptop (ww:ww:ww:ww:ww:ww) keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. Most of the time, it reconnects fast, but in some cases it takes more time.

I'm new to these logs and don't know how to interpret them. Can someone shed some light?

Here another extract of my logs showing what looks like wifi dropping for my iPhone device.

Is this "normal"? Any suggestion on how to resolve these problems?

Note that my router is setup to reboot every Sunday night and we're now Saturday with an uptime of 6 days 13 hours. I didn't notice whether these wifi drops increase over time or not.

Later that night, it was now a 2.4 Ghz appliance that was reconnecting every few seconds (see extract below). A mix of :
  • Disassociated due to inactivity
  • Deauthenticated because sending station is leaving
  • Unspecified reason
So I tried disabling Beamforming in the router (as a first test) and the problem went away 100% (!!). To see if that was a conclusive test, I then turned Beamforming back on but the problem never came back.

So in that specific case, disabling Beamforming was not conclusive.

I've been seeing the same with one of my 6E clients. It would remain connected for a few moments (any attempt of use would result in stutters) and then dropped with the same message. OTOH If connected via Wifi 6 (5Ghz) the connection was fast and stable.

All other 6E clients function fine. Factory reset + Setting up JFFS from scratch would temporarily resolve things before the issue resurfaces. I guess it's to do with the FW? I also have a particular Wifi 6 client that the router just kept rejecting auth for no reason (Linux kernel reports "denied authentication - status 1"). Just my router / FW being nitpicky.
