Local devices on separate XT8 nodes cannot talk to each other?

Setup is as so:
Fiber internet-->primary XT8 uplink. Local IP 192.168.50.1
Ethernet port of primary XT8 -> secondary XT8 uplink. Local IP 192.168.50.111
Using the ethernet backhaul, so no wireless devices here.
Server connected off of primary XT8: 192.168.50.11
Client connected off of secondary XT8: 192.168.50.145
Server and client cannot talk to each other. No firewall at all. What is going on here? Is there some missing route? They're all on the same subnet...

You seem to have two devices with the same IP address, the secondary XT8 and the "server".

How are the client and server connected to their respective XT8's, wired or wireless?

I'm wondering if maybe the secondary node thinks it is a router, and is firewalling its uplink connection from its secondary ethernet ports (and wireless clients). Make sure the secondary is configured as a plain repeater AP.
