I ran into some trouble to set up repeater, and need your help :)

1) AP is: asus rt-ac68u merlin 380.65
2) I have two spare routers, which I try to use one of them to set up as repeater.
Asus RT-N10P
Dlink Dir-813

both face same issue

3) take Asus RT-N10P for example, I run it in repeater mode. During configuration I can scan and see AP (asus rt-ac68u), but when attempt to connect, it take about 2 minutes and eventually get a screen saying "the parent-ap might be turned off" (http://imgur.com/a/E9xrQ)

I read this post, it seems like last guy said it's working, but mine is still not working

I wonder if I need to configure anything at AP or at repeater?

Thank you very much!

Hello,

have you managed to solve it out? I am trying to use a asus rt-ac1200g+ as a "master" and an asus rt-n12+ as a repeater.

i got the same errors as you with the repeater. :(
