I wish try this feature on performance tuning, but seems I can't apply it on my RT-AC68U due to the bootloader version, I got this note:

LED button Behavior
Note: Your router bootloader version is incompatible with Turbo (overclock) mode.

I have bootloader(CFE) 1.0.1.6, anyone try it?

You have to modify your CFE if you want turbo mode eg overclocking.
Here you have a guide:

Thanks for the link, I updated the bootloader to 1.0.1.8 (unlocked) and rebooted but I still see:
Note: Your router bootloader version is incompatible with Turbo (overclock) mode.

I can choose the tag OverClock as before but I don't know if it works.
Which one are the working versions for Turbo mode?
Firmware 376.47 merlin

Don't use that button, best way to do it is this way:
nvram set clkfreq=1000,800
nvram commit
reboot
Check with this comand:
nvram get clkfreq
And se if your bogomips is for 1Ghz
cat /proc/cpuinfo
~ BogoMIPS: 1998.84

Great job!
I see BogoMIPS: 1998.84 and also in the Sysinfo set to 1000 Mhz,
i'm just afraid if this setting can overheat the CPU in the long way.

Yes, it probably will if the way you use your router causes a lot of CPU usage. As with an overclocked computer, you must ensure you have very good cooling i.e. a fan blowing on the router.
