Can anyone tell me the difference between wpa-auto-personal and wpa2-personal security levels please?
Does wpa-auto use wpa2 and wpa?

Yeah, wpa-auto-personal probably allows WPA or WPA2 to be used.

At least one user reported being unable to connect older devices which only supported WPA when configured for wpa-auto-personal. This was back in 2015 and I don't know if such a bug still exists.
