Hi, most likely you are facing the same error that has been seen with a few ax88s after upgrading merlin versions.. the router becomes more or less sensitive to 'unclean' hardware resets. If this is the case then you have 2 options :
a) Wait for about 20 minutes or so... the 5ghz band may eventually appear, or
b) switch off the unit, disconnect power an wait 1 minute before connecting the power cable again. While waiting, press the power button a few times. This is known as an 'electrical reset' and at least in the seen cases will make the boot sequence to complete with 5GHz band active.

In any case remember that if using a DFS channel for 5Ghz, the router is obligued to do a scan of 1 min or 10 mins (depending on the specific channel) listening for radar interfering the frequency.. during the scan the 5Ghz band will NOT be available by design... not to confuse with above mentioned issue.
