I recently switched to Frontier Fios here locally and I am not getting good wifi reception throughout my town-home. My unit was built in 2015, 2 storied, and about 1800sq ft. I think the phone lines are cat-5 but I don't know how to tell how they are ended outside of just plugging and Ethernet cable in. This is the layout of my house right now https://photos.app.goo.gl/hkxsQBZmK8EhulM03 The "V" in the master has a white panel box that the tech put the ONT for the fiber into. It has the switch looking device up top that I would think I could use to maybe get connected down stairs to. https://photos.app.goo.gl/NCoOiHZs1R0Ixhzt1 HUBhttps://photos.app.goo.gl/2hFznftjGHWpqL1v1 ONT from Fronter https://photos.app.goo.gl/gKdClzInvGCX3jHg2Back of the ONT Bedroom 1 is my office and has the router in it. It is a Fios-G1100. I don't get very good reception to the area marked "Great Room" but saw people recommend in other help post the Unifi-AC-Lite. Is there a way to use the telephone jack marked "T" on the first floor to extend my network downstairs? I wanted to look at doing it this way first before I would try something like a mesh network.
