hello everyone,

when I try to install optware I am getting error what am I doing wrong

your guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Are you able to simply download the file and then run it?

Without more information I can't offer much help.

I always go back to the documentation. Most of the time, I'm screwing SOMEthing up...
 
Looks like you didn't mount your drive properly. As documented the USB drive would be mounted into the /opt directory. What instructions did you follow?
 
I am trying to install entware not optware by mistake I typed it wrong.


here is the instruction, I am following.

Plus I watched the youtube at the bottom of the page a couple times and still no luck.

I did mount the drive, created the directory and mount the USB DRIVE

I didn't download, I might give that a try as well
 
Sorry to ask the obvious...but you didn't say what router you are trying to install on. Entware is only available for the MIPs based routers, you must use Optware for the ARM routers.
