Hi,

I've setted logging to an external syslog server and all seams to work fine :)

Even so, as I only want to log severe events, I've setted the parameter 'Log only messages more urgent than' to 'Warning' but the router still sends all events with less priority (notice and info).

Does any one also experienced this problem?

Router: ASUS RT-AC66U
Firmware: 380.61
External syslog server: Synology NAS DS214Play

Best regards,
Emanuel

Did you reboot the router afterwards?

Yes I have, and after that, I've run the command 'logger -p user.notice test' and the entry log 'test' appears on the remote log server :(

That setting is for the local syslog daemon. If you want to change this when using a remote server, it has to be configured on that server.
