I upgraded from 380.66 to 380.66_2. I did not perform a reboot or power cycle or factory reset before the upgrade.
After the upgrade, wifi no issue, admin portal no issue, but no Internet access.
I had a power cycle, then everything works now. Thanks.

Make sure that the two servers are using different server ports. Second server should default to 1195.

Is it a good practice when resetting to default via reset button, that a JFFS format partition occurs to clear everything and start clean? Your thoughts?

Normally that shouldn't be necessary. The JFFS partition mostly contains scripts that you wrote, the traffic database from Trend Micro's Traffic Analyzer, that kind of stuff. I have never seen a case where data there was no longer backward compatible.

I just uploaded 380.66_2, which fixes the non-working AiCloud on the RT-N66U and RT-AC66U, and fixes a random failure to start either AiCloud or httpds on all platforms (the issue was more common on slower MIPS models tho).

I set up AICloud sync to a Webstorage account 2 days ago and initially it seemed to work as I could see the test folder on the cloud drive. But then AICloud Sync stopped working and I thought 380.66_2 would fix it. But it won't. Removed the sync profile and reconfigured, this time I used only backup to cloud. Still just sits there with "INITIAL". Any idea?

Hey @RMerlin, could you add the latest version to the post title in brackets, just as John an I do?

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available (380.66_2)

Feature Request: (sorry if this isn't the right place, please direct me if it's way out of bounds)

I would like the option to not set "duplicate-cn". Unfortunately, just setting it allows duplicate CNs so there is no way to unset it in the Custom Configuration section.

I understand this could be a support issue as the auto-generated .ovpn settings would then only work for one computer at a time (a second computer logging in would kick the first one off), but allowing duplicate CNs is not a recommended practice (https://serverfault.com/questions/104154/why-is-duplicate-cn-not-recommended-in-openvpn). I generated all my own certificates and keys with unique CNs with easy-rsa, so I'd like to be able to unset this.

so I'd like to be able to unset this.

Hint: You will need to create the script /jffs/scripts/openvpnserver1.postconf.

Despite things seeming stable earlier, I have had increasing issues with network instability (despite disabling airtime fairness on all networks). I tried factory resets, reconfiguring everything, more than once, and continued to have issues with devices being unable to connect reliably. After hours of downtime over a few days, I have reverted back to 380.65_4 and all is well once again. I will try again when a new revision comes out for the RT-AC3200.

I'm never sure whether I should do that or not. In the past, some users said it messed with their unread post tracker for some reason.

No idea, I don't use AiCloud, and never used SmartSync either. It's all closed source.

I am having the same issue now with latest 380.66 on my AC88U. It starts off fine then about 24 hours later my Android devices will keep disconnecting and reconnecting. Only a reboot will fix the issue. I set up a daily reboot schedule in the meantime to hopefully alleviate the issue until I find out whats going on.
