asus rog rapture gt‑ax11000 Before I buy

Hey Everyone,

So I have another post up looking for buying advice, I previously had the RT-AC5300 and it covered every square meter of my home, including the front and back garden. I replaced it with the Ubiquity Unifi Dream machine and I am dumping that today as its utter shirte.

Anyway I was going to purchase the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 but wanted to ask if there is any ongoing issues I need to be aware of before the purchase? I hope range is as good as its replacement and if the VPN side is capable enough for a big family.

Feedback on the AX11000 seems to be all over the map. Per my reply in your other thread, if you can get away with a single 5Ghz radio, you might consider the AX88U + Merlin, for the extra stability that it will likely bring to the picture.
