Hello,

I bought the router to use with my O2 ADSL connection, But I can't set it up. I go to PPoE and put in the password and username as provided by ISP, and then get an error "connection timed out". This error appears regardless of whether the internet cable is plugged in (I tried without just to see if there would be a difference). I was also given a VPI and VCI by the ISP, but there doesn't seem to be an option to set it.

Don't want to have to return this router, can anyone help?

Thanks!

first lets look at the elephant in the room and thats the fact the Asus RT-N18U is a wireless router only

so what have you got it connected to that is acting as the modem ? as its the modem that does the sync and vci / vpi etc

all the wireless router does is pppoe / pppoa etc along with authentication
