New Around Here
I was convinced that the Airport Extreme was one of the best units around. Until I found this site. I used the charts and the ASUS seems to blow the Airport Extreme away in all the tests.
I am looking at replacement for the wireless on my all in one. I will keep this for the modem capabilities but the wireless is flaky. (Netcomm NB6Plus4W).
My setup is Netcomm -->Netgear Gigabit Switch.
Which device would be my best bet. I only have ADSL (don't have access to ADSL2+), but with NBN coming at some stage, want to have something that will give me a good connection.

Following devices in my house
iMac - Wired (occasional Wireless)
MacBook Pro (wireless work laptop)
Dell XPS15
iPad
iTV
1 x iphone 4
1 x iphone 4S (shortly)
1 x Samsung TV (wireless)

I just received my RT-n56u yesterday it was a breeze to install. I immediately downloaded the most recent firmware and installed it.

I could not get vpn working right away but while waiting on hold I found the vpn passthrough setting that is disabled by default that took care of that issue.

3 wired connections
2 iphones
3 laptops on it.

my son and I play COD at the same time so far it has been great.
