New Around Here
I'm a novice at this, so here is my setup explained as simple as possible:

I currently have a wifi system setup for our campsite.

In the house we have a BT Router which links wireless into an outside building (via a Nanostation) which has a MikroTik RouterBOARD RB260GSP 5-port Gigabit Managed Switch with PoE which is then connected to another NanoStation to send the wifi signal across the campsite.

This is all setup and working fine using Open Mesh.

However, we need to set bandwidth limits as currently the campsite is taking all the broadband, leaving us with nothing in the house. Therefore a 30 / 70 split would be ideal.

So I have recently purchased a MikroTik RouterBOARD hEX 880MHz Gigabit Router.

1) Where in the network do i plug the new router in? Does the BT router need to be plugged into this? Or vice versa?

eg:

main line coming in > 880 Gigabit Router > BT Router > Nanostation > RB260GSP 5-port Gigabit Managed Switch

OR
main line coming in > BT Router > 880 Gigabit Router > Nanostation > RB260GSP 5-port Gigabit Managed Switch

2) How do i go about setting the limits? Is there a guide online?

thanks for any help....
