New Around Here
Just if someone is interested,
I managed to compile openconnect for ARM AC-68U.

It allows the router to connect the router as a client to the enterprise Cisco gateway thu SSL VPN.
This was the only missing feature I have found in the BEST firmware around: Asuswrt-Merlin.

Regards.

RMerlin: many thanks!

Wuhhhu sounds like a solution for my problem

Hi,
first of all I'd like to say hellooooooo :)

I am searching for a solution to connect my AC56U (merlin wrt) to an Cisco Any Connect network.

Is it possible to install your version of openconnect to my ac56u?

Hi der_willinger,

the version I compiled is for AC-68U.
Could you please connect to you please verify if the processor is the same?

ssh admin@your_router_ip:
cat /proc/cpuinfo

admin@AC68U:/tmp/home/root# cat /proc/cpuinfo
Processor : ARMv7 Processor rev 0 (v7l)
processor : 0
BogoMIPS : 1599.07

AC56U and AC68U both use the same BCM4708a CPU.

sounds great :D

Hi!
First of all: Thanks to both of you!

I've checkt the processor by using putty. It is exactly the same (as you already know- RMerlin was faster).

So there is no need for any other changes?
It would be great if you could give me a installation instruction.

Need more details according to my CPU?

I will try today to post the binaries plus the installation instructions and the wrapper I use to dial the VPN.

Beside adding the binaries, you will need to add the LD_LIBRARY_PATH and modify the path to the binary files.
The wrapper just has the template (the one you have to modify in order to reflect your VPN config) and the fw rules to allow local lan to masquerade as the IP of the VPN interface.

Wait for news in few hours. I will update this forum thread.
(I wanted to did it past weekend but I was on-call and had no spare time to do it yet.)

Sorry, you'll have to download files from the link above and check the installation guide from there.

The forum seems to block my posts as soon as I try to post instructions [may be it doesn't like my prompt?]

Anyway, you could reach me: jiqruiz.asuswrt at gmail.com
